Gayl is an award-winning interdisciplinary designer and entrepreneur on a mission to transform the world. She has over 25 years of design, marketing and entrepreneurial experience collaborating with just about every type of business from small non-profits to Fortune 100 companies. She studied advertising design at College for Creative Studies in Detroit, holds a bachelor of arts in graphic design from the Frostic School of Art at Western Michigan University (WMU) and in film, video and media studies from the School of Communication at WMU, a master of science in psychology from California Coast University, a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, a certificate in plant-based nutrition from e-Cornell, a diploma in companion animal nutrition from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and is certified in canine nutrition. Her diverse background, education, and experience serve as an incredible asset to her clients.

Gayl is a lover of typography, which she taught at Pratt Institute in NYC, is certified through VeganDesign.org, and a member of Squarespace Circle, WFPB.ORG, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and American College of Preventive Medicine. She’s received several prestigious awards for design and advertising—ADDY, TELLY, VISIONARY, ECO—plus a generous amount of press including a full-length segment on Oprah's Oxygen TV Network, MTV's Fashionably Loud and editorials in popular magazines including VIBE, Ebony and Natural Health Magazine. A full-page “In The Spotlight” editorial on her career, A Woman After Her Own Art, appeared in Jezebel Magazine.

Gayl lives a cruelty-free, plant-based lifestyle. She is a champion of change with a goal to eliminate animal suffering, chronic disease, and the climate crisis. She’s made it her life’s mission to work with like-minded entrepreneurs and conscious companies to promote compassionate products, services and brands to help them succeed and transform the world.

Lola is Gayl’s canine companion whom Gayl rescued as a pup nearly 13 years ago. Lola enjoys leisurely strolls in the sun wearing her doggy shades, listening to music, tummy rubs, TV-marathoning and her favorite toys (made from non-toxic recycled materials, of course).
